Process Control Tools
One Module – Numerous Possibilities
Connecting the PCT Module to the machine tool is usually very simple. The device is connected to the power supply +24 VDC, an ethernet interface for the connection to the PCT Monitor is set up, and a PROFINET connection is provided for the exchange of digital data (GSDML implementation and PLC programming).
That’s all – once the desired job has been selected and configured with the necessary monitoring strategy, process monitoring in the PCT Module can start!
If additional interfaces on the device are required, these are available at no extra cost.
- Up to 8 signals with selectable signal types: torque, motor current, effective power
- Monitoring of up to 4 monitoring channels contemporaneously
- 8 analog measuring inputs (+/- 10 VDC) e. g. acoustic emission signal
- 2 inputs for speed measuring (RPM) with inductive proximity switch
- Job management with a very large number of data sets (jobs)
- Combination of monitoring strategies possible by up to 4 job instances
- 32 GB micro SD for PCT data memory
